BUILT IN HOT TUBS ON A BUDGET

Are you looking to add a hot tub to your outdoor space, but you don’t quite have the budget for a full in-ground pool build? Well lucky for you we are quite skilled in the art of installing pre-fabricated hot tubs with a built-in feel. Keep scrolling for some epic hot tub inspirations!

For this particular home in Pacific Beach our client wanted to incorporate an in ground hot tub into their pre-existing IPE deck. To accomplish this we built a flat pad under the deck with CMU blocks, cut out a hole in the existing deck, re-framed the area around the deck, and carefully lowered the spa in place. With our skilled laborers and precise measurements, we were able to bring our clients vision to a reality.

For this particular home in Carmel Valley we created an entire new space for our clients to experience in what was previously un-used corner of the yard. We poured a below grade slab and retaining walls and installed the hot tub half-way below grade. We surrounded the spa on three sides with a low wall and a wide granite ledge which is perfect for setting drinks. We left the back side of the spa open with no ledge allowing space for the spa lift to operate. The adjacent fire feature with vibrant blue fire glass really adds that high-end WOW factor to this project.

This particular project was competed back in 2018.  Our client had an existing spa with built-in decking, but they wanted to incorporate the spa with the rest of their entertaining space rather than it feeling like a separate hidden nook in their yard. To achieve this we raised the spa up and expanded their patio space to really take advantage of those Mt. Soledad views. We incorporated a built in planter and firepit with match concrete caps to achieve a cohesive and intentional look 

This North Pacific Beach home backyard transformation is one of our favorites. The Cali-bamboo decking, smooth stucco walls, and linear off-set steps surrounding this semi in-ground hot tub is giving us extremely modern and high-end vibes.

For this particular hot tub install our clients opted for a very warm and organic design by incorporating IPE wood decking around their spa.
